Move PayslipMaker To A New PC

Four steps to set PayslipMaker up on a replacement computer, using your existing backup.

  1. Make sure the new PC has Microsoft Access installed.
  2. Locate your backup.
  3. Install the PayslipMaker demo.
  4. Restore your backup.

1. Microsoft Access 2010 or newer required

PayslipMaker runs on Microsoft Access (versions 2010, 2013, 2016, or 2019/365). Access is one of the programs in Microsoft Office Professional, so you may already have it.

If you don't have Access installed, Microsoft offers a free, stripped-down Runtime version that enables Access-based programs like PayslipMaker to run.

2. Backup

Get the backup file: put the backup on an external hard disk or flash drive, a shared folder (on your local network or in the cloud), or email it to yourself or the new user so it can be downloaded on the new PC.

3. Install the demo

Email or text Kim for the web address of the installer.

4. Restore
